Stop MI House Bill 4471 ~ We Need Vaccine Mandates

Extremists in Michigan’s Congress have initiated MI House Bill 4471. The bill is a blatant assault against public safety. This is a right wing reply to today’s full FDA approval of the COVID-19 vaccine.

If this bill passes, businesses in Michigan including hospitals could not require employees to be vaccinated and could not require the unvaccinated to wear masks. Plus it says businesses could not require employees to wear masks. 

Thinking caring people must resist the  Informed Consent in the Workplace Act (aka MI House Bill 4471)

SUMMARY:

MI House Bill 4471 would create a new act, the Informed Consent in the Workplace Act, to prohibit discrimination against an employee or volunteer who declines or has not received certain vaccinations, including for COVID-19. An employer also could not require the employee or volunteer to wear a mask in the workplace or disclose to the public that the employee or volunteer has declined or not received a vaccination.

Please write or phone your representative’s office to show your opposition, as a Michigan resident, to this dangerous bill. Pass this on to your Michigan friends and family who care about the health and welfare of our state.
