Bob Russell is a distinguished man, the Florida Fly Boy, one of the heroic Hell Hawks. He is the subject of a short memoire I am writing; it will highlight his interesting life, including his WWII fighter pilot experience.
This story mostly comes directly from Bob who is now 97. Family and friends add to the content and annotations, and research conducted.
